In short: the site asks you for nothing. No forms, no account, no email address. You can read the prompts and the articles without leaving anything behind.

Below is what does happen in the background, because every site loads things from somewhere.

Who runs the site

What does not happen

• There is no form anywhere on the site. You could not leave an email even if you wanted to.
• There is no account, no login, no profile.
• There is no newsletter and no addresses are collected for one.
• The site sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing in your browser.
• No data is sold, rented or passed to anyone for marketing.

What happens automatically when you open a page

Hosting. The site is hosted by Netlify. Like any web server, it logs the requests that reach it: IP address, browser type, page requested, and time. A site cannot work without this. Details in Netlify’s policy.

Statistics. I use Metricool to see how many people reach the site and which pages they read. I care about the numbers, not the people: I cannot see who you are and I do not try to find out. Metricool may use identifiers in your browser so the same visit is not counted twice. Details in Metricool’s policy.

Fonts. The page fonts are served by Google Fonts. That means your browser makes a request to Google’s servers, and Google sees your IP address. It is the only dependency of this kind on the site.

What happens when you click something

Social links — Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn — take you to those platforms. They are plain links: there are no embedded buttons and no tracking pixels on the site. Once you are there, their rules apply, not mine.

WhatsApp. The link opens a conversation with me. What you write goes through WhatsApp and stays on my phone.

Payment buttons take you to Stripe. Payment happens entirely on their pages. I never see or store your card details. In the Stripe dashboard I see the payment confirmation and whatever you fill in there, so that I can deliver what you bought. Details in Stripe’s policy.

Email. If you write to hello@mon.cool, the message lands in a Google Workspace inbox and stays there as long as it makes sense for our conversation.

How to block what you do not want

Statistics and fonts can be blocked in your browser settings or with a blocking extension. The site works just as well without them — it may render in a different typeface, that is all.

Your rights

If you are in the European Union or in Switzerland, you have the right to know what data exists about you, to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, to object to processing, and to complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Write to hello@mon.cool and I will answer. Because the site collects no data that identifies you, in most cases the answer will be that there is nothing to show or delete.

If anything changes — a new tool, a form, anything — I update this page and change the date below.
